Snag yourself a patio seat, sit back, and enjoy the $5 martinis named for Los Angeles neighborhoods and streets – a nice apple martini for the Strip, a fuzzy orange marvel for the PCH, etc. The Trocadero is great for people watching – whether your fellow diners on a first date or the wacky antics of Strip-goers. It’s got a nice, laid back ambience – a step up from any of the nearby sports bars, but still more relaxed and chill than one of the adjacent hotel bars.

The time is prime on their daily happy hour (6-8 pm) and the drinks are just right. We just wish they’d offer a deal on their food items as well – calamari, vegetables crudités with fondue cheese and their specialty mac’n’cheese are quite tasty. The prices aren’t outlandish, but we love a good deal all around. Service has been routinely fine if not a bit slow and please note that the bathrooms are coed and smell… coed!
