True Hollywood Confession: When we set out to look for local happy hours, we wanted to find the best deals in town. We’re bougie girls who enjoy the finer things, but who are just as happy drinking fuzzy navels on our back patio (and calling 911 as we watch crimes-in-progress – true Hollywood story for another day, enjoy the criminal activities picture for now - that's a lady breaking into an older SUV).

So, it’s hard to review the STK happy hour. This place is true Hollywood cool – complete with a paparazzi detail outside. The vibe is sleek, the crowd is well-dressed and good looking; same goes for the attentive staff. And the Sunday-Friday happy hour is at the perfect LA happy hour time of 6-8 pm.
But their happy hour specials are not so special. Specialty drinks and wines by the glass ring in at $10, beers at $5. Foodwise – they’ve got a select handful of $5 items, a few more $10 light-bites, and then $15 entrees (burger & fries, etc). Admittedly, STK’s regular patrons probably have no qualms about the high-priced deals, but as previously stated, we set out to find the best deals in town, and frankly, STK doesn’t have them.

So, bougie girls of the Los Angeles region, save STK for a hot date with a guy who either has money and/or is out to impress. And don’t forget your designer duds – you may find yourself in the background of a Kim Kardashian paparazzo shot! And that’s a True Hollywood Story you can write home about ;).

On a positive side note, STK and the ONE Group do have a nice e-mail update/twitter set-up to keep guests in the know of upcoming specials and promotions.
