Daily, 5-7pm, 1/2 price drinks at fun-times British pub bar smack in the center of the Sunset Strip

Red Rock offers a British-pub-sports-bar kind of happy hour with great western views of the Strip - from its nestled corner intersection of Sunset, Holloway, and Palm. We've never had a bad time here, be it celebrating birthdays (the other J just celebrated hers at Red Rock) or a long work-day. We did have one friend get punched in the face after starting a fight with a fellow patron when their friends' parties were overbooked in the same space for the same time. The other J and I would never do anything like that unless you consider throwing a drink in someone's face bad behavior.

It's not too hard to find seating at the bar or at a table and ordering from your bartender or waiter/waitress is very convenient. Like Sunset Trocadero, there are no food specials, which is a bummer, but the appetizers are tasty, patently unhealthy, and somewhat decently priced anyway.

Red Rock is a great spot for informal group meet-ups and also, although we've never met any mates, dates, etc. here, we know people who have. It kind of lends itself to that sort of thing with its friendly patrons (sans birthday punch-out) and open seating arrangements.
